St. Andrew's York
An Episcopal Parish in the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania

"Come and see; Go and be!"

Greetings and welcome in the name of Jesus Christ! Whether you are seeking a new faith community or a long-standing member of St. Andrew’s York, you are welcome here!

At St. Andrew’s York, we seek to serve “Christ and his people through faithful worship, study, ministry, and mission, so as to reflect God’s love for all”. Like Andrew, our patron saint we strive to help others know the love of Jesus, to find their place in the Christian Faith, and to grow in that faith.

We are a congregation of long-tenured members, new members; people of all ages and a variety of backgrounds seeking to know Jesus and to make him known. We seek to provide opportunities for fellowship, mission and outreach, and education – all drawing their significance and purpose from our worship and praise of God.

We invite you to come as you are to see and be a part of the St. Andrew’s York family.

"that we may know Christ and

make him known; and through him, at all times and in all

places, may give thanks to God in all things"

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in York, PA, began seeking to make Christ known in the early years of the 20th century.  For over 100 years, the people of St. Andrew's York have proclaimed the love of Christ through worship, education, engaging in a variety of mission and outreach opportunities, and fellowship.

Grounded in the baptismal covenant, the mission and ministry of St. Andrew's York is two-fold: to nourish all who call St. Andrew's York their church home and to reach forth our hands in love to our local community, our diocese, and into the world.

The overarching vision of St. Andrew's York is to meet people where they are and help individuals grow in their relationship with God and deepen their witness to Christ in a broken world.
