About St. Andrews Episcopal Church of York, PA
St. Andrew’s is a community of diverse people who are united in a belief in God, and in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as the best way to know God. As Christians, we believe it is God’s purpose not to punish and reject, but to restore all things to himself through forgiveness, reconciliation, and love. Through the choices we make in our own lives, we try to imitate Jesus’ example. We believe that the Church is essentially a community of people, not just a building, and that as followers of Christ it is our mission to reach out to those in need, and to build up faith, courage, and compassion. The Resurrection teaches us that in every disappointment, failure, or death, there is the seed of new life; therein lies our hope and strength.
